Members, just a reminder of the AGM on Wednesday 27th July. Starting at 7:30 at the Clubrooms.

The Southern Fly Fishers mourns the loss of our life members, John McDonald, following long term illness. John organised and ran the Max Kepert Cup and Wundafly for many years. He is remembered by us all as a humble man; a gentleman in the truest meaning of the word.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the McDonald family at this time.

We will inform members of the funeral arrangements once we receive them.

John, you will be sadly missed,

Dear members. Unfortunately we have to cancel this weekend trip to the Rubicon. See the Club Board for other trips coming up.

The annual Victorian Championships Casting Competition is being held at the casting pool at the clubrooms on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May from 9.30am onwards. This prestigious event is always well attended with competitors from around our state.

All members are welcome to come along and support our clubs competitors. This is also a great opportunity to witness Victoria’s best casters in action.

The International Fly Fishing Film Festival is again coming to Melbourne. Here are the details:
