Ross Bailey has prepared some excellent notes on fishing Lake Purrumbete which will be of valuable assistance for those members going on the club trip on 12-14 August. You can access the notes by logging in to the website and selecting “Club Trips” from the Club Activities tab.

Members, just a reminder of the AGM on Wednesday 27th July. Starting at 7:30 at the Clubrooms.

The Southern Fly Fishers mourns the loss of our life members, John McDonald, following long term illness. John organised and ran the Max Kepert Cup and Wundafly for many years. He is remembered by us all as a humble man; a gentleman in the truest meaning of the word.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the McDonald family at this time.

We will inform members of the funeral arrangements once we receive them.

John, you will be sadly missed,
