All of the members of the Southern Fly Fishers Club are deeply saddened at the loss of Charles Bradley, one of the most respected, admired and valued members of our Club. Charles was a great supporter of all of our activities and his experience and counsel will be sadly missed. We are all better people for having known Charles. He will be missed by all who knew him and we offer our sincere condolences to Judy and his family. Tight lines Charles The Committee and Members of Southern Fly Fishers Aust. Inc.

The funeral service for Charles will be will be held at 11.30am this coming Thursday the 5th of November at St Mary’s Church 91 Manning Road East Malvern.

Dear Members. Just a reminder that there will be an evening of Ring Casting on Monday 5th October starting at 7.00pm at the clubrooms. This is a good opportunity to practise some accuracy casting with expert tuition on hand. For further information please contact Tony Hyett.

The Southern Fly Fishers are proud to have inducted Mick Hall as a Life Member of the Club. We were proud to present Mick with his life membership in a club meeting last week.

A note for those who paid this years subs prior to the July 31 deadline.The deadline to purchase one of the new club jackets with the SFF logo (as modelled by our president in the picture below) at the discounted price of $20 is at the next General Meeting this coming Wednesday 26th August. All orders after this time will be at the price of $35.

A reminder that the General Meeting on Wednesday 26 August will be held at Hurley’s Fly Fishing in Bentleigh from 7.30pm.
